Westgate sits right at the mouth of Jurong East MRT station, which makes it one of the more convenient malls in the west for a quick after-school lesson. It’s not the biggest tuition cluster in the area — JEM and the Jurong Gateway Road blocks across the road have far more centres between them — but Westgate does have its own small handful, all on Level 4.
We checked every listing in our database against the mall’s actual address and kept only the ones genuinely inside Westgate itself, rather than padding the list with centres a five-minute walk away in JEM or Vision Exchange. That leaves three: Mindchamps Enrichment Academy, Write Edge Learning Centre, and Stalford Learning Centre. Here’s what each one offers.

1. Mindchamps Enrichment Academy (Westgate)
Address: 3 Gateway Drive #04-16/17, Westgate, Singapore 608532
Phone: +65 6369 9455 | Website: mindchamps.org
MindChamps runs on its own “3-Mind Education Model” — splitting instruction across what it calls the Champion Mind (confidence and perseverance), Learning Mind (academics), and Creative Mind (imagination) — built on a brain-based learning approach rather than a standard worksheet curriculum. At Westgate the enrichment programme covers English and Phonics for preschoolers, and the branch currently offers a free trial class, so it’s a low-commitment way to see if the format suits your child before enrolling.
- Preschool: English, Phonics
- Free trial class available

2. Write Edge Learning Centre (Westgate)
Address: 3 Gateway Drive #04-15, Westgate, Singapore 608532
Phone: +65 8823 4840 | Website: write-edge.com
Write Edge is an English specialist, not a general tuition centre, and it leans on what it calls “technique-driven learning” — teaching the actual mechanics of comprehending, structuring, and answering rather than having students memorise model answers. Classes are kept small, at 6–8 students per teacher, and every piece of writing gets marked with direct, personalised feedback the same lesson. The Westgate branch covers both Primary and Secondary English, following the current MOE syllabus.
- Primary: English
- Secondary: English
- No trial class currently offered — enquire directly for a placement assessment

3. Stalford Learning Centre (Westgate)
Address: 3 Gateway Drive #04-19/20, Singapore 608532
Phone: +65 6686 3233 | Website: stalford.edu.sg
Stalford covers the widest academic range of the three, from preschool through secondary. The brand’s pitch centres on its educators rather than a named methodology — it says its 600-strong teaching staff includes textbook authors and former school heads of department, and it runs intensive holiday crash courses ahead of PSLE and O-Level exams. If you’ve got children at more than one level, this is the one centre on the list that could realistically cover all of them under one roof.
- Preschool: Chinese, English, Math, Phonics
- Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
- Secondary: Additional Math, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese, Elementary Math, English, Math, Physics, Science
Note: this listing’s excerpt still references an older Jurong West St 73 address, but the current listed location — confirmed by coordinates — is the Westgate branch above.

About Westgate
Westgate (3 Gateway Drive, Singapore 608532) opened its doors on 2 December 2013, developed by CapitaLand as part of the Jurong Gateway redevelopment that turned the area into Singapore’s second Central Business District. The mall spans about 410,000 sq ft across seven retail levels, integrated with a 20-storey Grade A office tower, and holds around 196 stores including 24 anchor tenants.
A few things make it useful for a family running a tuition errand:
- Westgate Wonderland (Level 4) — a Fitness First gym, swimming pool, and childcare facilities, plus a Kids Club on Level 5 if a younger sibling needs somewhere to be while an older one is in lesson.
- Eccellente by HAO Mart — the supermarket that took over the basement space after Isetan closed there in March 2020, handy for a grocery run either side of a lesson.
- Direct link to Jurong East MRT and JEM — the mall connects into the same underground and elevated pedestrian network (J-Walk) as JEM and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, so it’s a fully sheltered walk regardless of weather.
Getting to Westgate: MRT & parking
By MRT: Take the North-South Line (NS1) or East-West Line (EW24) to Jurong East station and use Exit B, which links directly into Westgate’s basement level — about a 2-minute walk, fully sheltered via the underground link or the elevated J-Walk bridge. The planned Jurong Region Line station at Jurong East (JE5) hasn’t opened yet — current estimates put it at mid-2028 — so NS1/EW24 remain the only MRT options for now.
By bus: Jurong East Bus Interchange is a short, sheltered walk away via the same MRT concourse, serving the wider Jurong East and Jurong West bus network.
By car: Westgate’s basement car park is metered daily (weekday, weekend, and public holiday rates are the same): S$1.60 for the first hour, then S$0.55 per 15 minutes after that, based on LTA-fed parking data — always worth confirming the rate posted at the gantry, since mall car park pricing does get revised. On that basis, a typical 1–1.5 hour lesson block works out to roughly S$1.60–S$2.70 in parking.
Prices, subjects, and trial class availability are updated periodically — always confirm directly with the centre before enrolling. Browse the full directory of Jurong East tuition centres for more options.
