- Financial Statements & Special Accounts: Intensive coverage of preparing the income statement and balance sheet for sole traders, alongside partnership accounts and non-profit organisation accounts.
- Analysis & Interpretation: Practice computing and meaningfully interpreting financial ratios to assess a business's liquidity, profitability and efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Parents
When is the ideal time to start tuition for O-Level Principles of Accounting?
Educators recommend starting targeted support as soon as the elective begins in Secondary 3, since POA is a new subject for most students and builds cumulatively from the very first topics. Early reinforcement of the accounting cycle prevents small errors from snowballing before the O-Levels.
My child is good at Math. Will they automatically do well in POA?
Not necessarily. While POA involves numbers, it tests methodical, rule-based recording and classification far more than mathematical ability. Strong Math students can still lose marks from misapplying accounting conventions or misclassifying an item, so dedicated practice with accounting-specific logic is essential.
