SAT Math Tuition Centres in Singapore
The SAT is now fully digital and taken on the Bluebook app. The Math section has two modules, and the second adapts to how well the student did in the first. A calculator is allowed for the whole section, with Desmos built into the app. The Math score runs from 200 to 800.
What SAT Math covers
- Algebra and advanced maths: linear equations, systems, quadratics and non-linear functions.
- Problem-solving and data analysis: ratios, percentages, probability and reading data from tables and graphs.
- Geometry and trigonometry: area and volume, angles, triangles and circles.
Choosing an SAT Math tuition centre
Ask whether classes use the digital format and Bluebook practice tests, whether lessons are in a group or one-to-one, and how the course lines up with your child's test date. Some centres run short intensive courses before each test date, while others offer ongoing weekly lessons.
Frequently asked questions
When should my child start SAT preparation?
Most students start a few months before their chosen test date. Plenty of practice on full-length adaptive tests in Bluebook helps students get used to the format.
Is SAT Math hard for Singapore students?
Much of the content is familiar from secondary school maths. The challenge is usually speed, wordy questions and avoiding careless mistakes under time pressure.
Which centres teach SAT Math?
Centres listed for SAT Math include Testtakers Singapore, ICON+ and Prep Zone Academy. Use the filters to compare the others on this page by location, fees and trial class.
