The Clementi Mall sits right across from Clementi MRT and the bus interchange, which makes it the obvious meeting point for anyone running errands in Clementi Town Centre. But when we checked our full listings database against the mall’s own confirmed address — 3155 Commonwealth Avenue West — none of our current tuition centre listings are actually tagged to a unit inside the mall itself. The nearest genuine cluster sits a short walk away, across Clementi Avenue 3 and Avenue 4, in the row of HDB shopping blocks that face the mall.
We swept every listing in our database by distance from The Clementi Mall’s coordinates rather than trusting category tags alone, since a listing can easily be filed under “Clementi” while actually sitting in a different building next door. Grantral Mall and 321 Clementi — both genuinely separate buildings a stone’s throw from The Clementi Mall — have their own tuition clusters and their own write-ups; what follows here is the set of nine centres within roughly 150–310 metres of The Clementi Mall along Clementi Ave 3/4, each with a full profile.

1. UNBOXED Math (Clementi)
Address: 442 Clementi Avenue 3 #01-105 (2nd storey, entrance beside carpark), Singapore 120442
Phone: +65 8948 1598 | Website: theunboxed.co
UNBOXED is a Math-only specialist, MOE-registered, and built around the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract progression that Singapore Math is known for — number bonds and bar modelling before the abstract working, not the other way round. Lessons are pitched as student-driven rather than lecture-style, with tutors adjusting pace to how a child actually works through a problem instead of running a fixed script. It’s a tight fit for a family that just needs Math sorted and doesn’t want to sign up for a full multi-subject package.
- Primary: Math
- Secondary: Additional Math, Elementary Math, Math
- JC: Mathematics
- Paid trial class available

2. Good School Learning Hub (Clementi Branch)
Address: 447 Clementi Avenue 3 #02-201, Singapore 120447
Phone: +65 8054 8668 | Website: goodschool.com.sg
Good School was co-founded by Tan Wei Jie, an NIE-trained, ex-MOE teacher with close to two decades in the classroom before moving into tuition. His English teaching leans on what he calls the Artificial Intelligence Methodology — a step-by-step, logic-first way of breaking down comprehension and composition questions — alongside a START framework (Simplify, Topic, Action, Resources, Test) used across subjects to structure how students attack a question. No trial class is listed here, so call ahead if you want to sit in on a lesson first.
- Primary: English, Math, Science
- Secondary: Additional Math, Chemistry, Elementary Math, English, Math, Science

3. Lil’ But Mighty Education Centre (Clementi)
Address: Block 432 Clementi Ave 3, #01-282, Singapore 120432
Phone: +65 9646 0930 | Website: lilbutmightyenglish.com
Lil’ But Mighty is an English-only centre built around what it calls a “Learn, Share, Replay” method — students don’t just absorb a comprehension strategy, they’re asked to explain it back, on the theory that having to teach something is what actually proves you’ve understood it. Classes are capped at six students, and the syllabus is built thematically around PSLE-style questions rather than generic worksheets. Useful if English specifically, not a full subject bundle, is the gap you’re trying to close.
- Primary: English
- Secondary: English
- Paid trial class available

4. Fasosola Music School
Address: Blk 320 Clementi Ave 4 #01-49, Singapore 120320
Phone: +65 8799 6043 | Website: fasosola.edu.sg
Fasosola is the odd one out on this list — a music school, not an academic tuition centre, and named for its four teaching pillars (Friendship, Sense, Strength, Love). Instructors are framed as companions in a child’s musical development rather than drill sergeants, and the school leans on a flexible curriculum rather than one fixed method, since the right approach for a five-year-old picking up an instrument for the first time isn’t the same as for a teenager prepping for a grade exam. Worth a look if you’re after an enrichment option that isn’t another academic subject.
- Focus: Music instruction, for all ages

5. Writers At Work Enrichment (Clementi Branch)
Address: Blk 320, Clementi Ave 4, #01-15/25/27/29, Singapore 120320
Phone: +65 8404 9281 | Website: writersatwork.com.sg
Writers At Work runs on its own STORYBANKING® method, built to cover essay writing, comprehension technique, and oral confidence as one connected skill set rather than three separate drills. The centre has been operating long enough to have built up a fairly deep bank of past-year-style questions and model answers, and the pitch is squarely results-driven — plan the answer properly, then write it, rather than freewriting and hoping it lands. Another English specialist on this list, so it’s worth comparing directly against Lil’ But Mighty if that’s the subject you’re shopping for.
- Primary: English
- Secondary: English
- Paid trial class available

6. Kim & You Academy
Address: 431 Clementi Avenue 3 #01-318, Singapore 120431
Phone: +65 9230 0185 | Website: kimnyou.com.sg
Kim & You keeps its groups small — a ratio of roughly 1:4 to 1:8 — and builds its own teaching materials in-house rather than buying off-the-shelf worksheets, drawing on past-year papers from a range of top schools. Lessons run 90 minutes and mix direct instruction with group discussion, on the idea that a child who can explain a concept to a classmate has actually understood it, not just memorised the steps. It covers the widest span on this list, from Primary right through to JC.
- Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
- Secondary: Additional Math, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese, Elementary Math, English, Math, Physics, Science
- JC: Chemistry, Chinese, General Paper, Mathematics, Physics
- No trial class currently offered

7. PlayFACTO School (Clementi Central)
Address: 431 Clementi Ave 3, #01-310/312, Singapore 120431
Phone: +65 9773 4336 | Website: playfactoschool.com.sg
PlayFACTO’s Creative Math programme was co-developed with Korean education specialists and is built entirely around hands-on manipulatives and storytelling rather than worksheets — the target age range runs from about 3 to 10. Where PlayFACTO shows up in this branch’s listing is Math and Chinese at the Primary level, with the Coding & Robotics track (MODI IoT kits, then VEX Robotics as kids get older) available for the 6–12 age band at other branches. Good fit if you want enrichment that reads as play rather than a second round of school.
- Preschool: Math, Robotics
- Primary: Chinese, Math

8. Ms Ng’s Learning Academy (Clementi)
Address: 446 Clementi Ave 3 #01-191 (2nd Level), Singapore 120446
Phone: +65 9011 9598 | Website: msnglearningacademy.com.sg
Ms Ng’s Learning Academy started small — founder Ng Shi Wah began with home-based tutoring before it grew into a full academy — and the pitch stays personal: if a child can’t learn the way they’re being taught, the academy says it adjusts the teaching rather than the child. With close to two decades in the business, it now covers Primary through Secondary across a fairly wide subject range, including Humanities at the Secondary level, which isn’t common among the other centres here. It’s also the only centre on this list currently offering a free trial class.
- Primary: English, Math, Science
- Secondary: Additional Math, Biology, Chemistry, Elementary Math, English, Geography, History, Math, Physics, Science
- Free trial class available

9. Mindchamps Enrichment Academy (Clementi Central)
Address: 451 Clementi Ave 3, #02-309, Singapore 120451
Phone: +65 8020 9498 | Website: mindchamps.org
MindChamps runs its enrichment programmes on the same “3 Minds” framework — Champion Mind, Learning Mind, Creative Mind — that underpins its preschool curriculum, plus an Optimal Flow Method the brand uses to link new material back to what a child already knows rather than teaching each topic in isolation. The Primary Success Programme here covers English, Math, Science and Chinese in line with the MOE syllabus. As a national chain, it’s a reasonable default if you’d rather stick with a brand you can also find in other neighbourhoods.
- Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
- No trial class currently offered

Frequently Asked Questions
Are any of these tuition centres actually inside The Clementi Mall building?
No — based on our current listings, none of the nine centres above sit inside The Clementi Mall’s own retail units at 3155 Commonwealth Avenue West. All nine are a short walk away, on Clementi Avenue 3 or Avenue 4, in the HDB shopping blocks facing the mall. Grantral Mall and 321 Clementi, both separate buildings right next door to The Clementi Mall, have their own tuition centres as well.
Which of these centres is closest to The Clementi Mall?
UNBOXED Math at Blk 442 Clementi Ave 3 is the nearest, roughly 150 metres away. Most of the others are within about 300 metres — a 3-5 minute walk.
Is there an English-language specialist near The Clementi Mall?
Two: Lil’ But Mighty Education Centre and Writers At Work Enrichment both focus specifically on English, at Primary and Secondary level. They use different methods — Lil’ But Mighty’s “Learn, Share, Replay” model versus Writers At Work’s STORYBANKING® approach — so it’s worth comparing both if English is your main concern.
Which centre is best for a young child just starting out?
PlayFACTO School is the most preschool-oriented option here, using play-based methods for Math from around age 3. Mindchamps also runs Primary-level enrichment built on its early-childhood framework.
Do any of these centres offer a trial class?
Ms Ng’s Learning Academy offers a free trial class. UNBOXED Math, Lil’ But Mighty, and Writers At Work offer a paid trial. Good School Learning Hub, Fasosola, Kim & You Academy, PlayFACTO, and Mindchamps don’t currently list one — call ahead to ask about a placement assessment instead.
Is there anywhere for Math tuition specifically, without other subjects bundled in?
UNBOXED Math is a Math-only specialist covering Primary through JC. Kim & You Academy and Ms Ng’s Learning Academy both offer Math as part of a wider subject range if you’d rather keep siblings or multiple subjects at one centre.
About The Clementi Mall
The Clementi Mall opened for business in January 2011, with an official ceremony that May officiated by Singapore’s then-President Tony Tan. It was built on the site of the old Clementi bus interchange, which had been shifted to a temporary location nearby in 2006 to free up the land. The mall itself runs to about 191,000 square feet of retail space across six levels, including a basement shopping floor and basement car park, and sits below Clementi Towers — notable as the first HDB residential project built directly above a shopping mall and bus interchange.
Anchor tenants include Best Denki, Uniqlo, Miniso, and an NTUC FairPrice Finest, alongside around 135 shops and close to 20 F&B outlets. Two things make it more than just a shopping stop for families: the Clementi Public Library operates inside the mall, and the West Coast Town Council also has an office here — useful if you’re combining a library visit or town council errand with a lesson at one of the centres nearby.
- Clementi Public Library — inside the mall, a natural stop before or after a lesson.
- NTUC FairPrice Finest — anchor supermarket tenant, handy for a grocery run.
- Clementi Bus Interchange — integrated at ground level, directly below the mall.
- Clementi Towers — the HDB flats built above the mall, part of the same integrated development.
Getting to The Clementi Mall: MRT & parking
By MRT: Clementi station (EW23) on the East-West Line connects to the mall via a third-level, air-conditioned link bridge that opened in 2006 — take Exit D and the bridge carries you straight across Commonwealth Avenue West into the mall, about a 2-minute walk with no need to cross at street level.
By bus: Clementi Bus Interchange sits right below the mall, served by a long list of services including 7, 14, 96, 99, 147, 156, 165, 166, 173, 175, 196, 282, 284, and 285, plus additional services running along Commonwealth Avenue West.
By car: The mall is reachable via Clementi Avenue 3, Commonwealth Avenue West, or the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). Parking is in the basement car park at Basement 2, which also has EV charging bays (Shell Recharge, Lots 103 & 104).
- Parking rate: S$1.70 for the first hour or part thereof, then S$0.85 for every subsequent half hour or part thereof.
- Motorcycles: S$1.70 per entry.
- Rates apply daily, published directly by The Clementi Mall — no separate weekend or public holiday rate listed.
For a typical hour-long lesson, budget around S$1.70 if you park for the full hour; for 90 minutes, expect closer to S$2.55. Parking rates can change, so it’s worth checking the gantry or the mall’s own parking page before you drive in.
Prices, subjects, and trial class availability are updated periodically — always confirm directly with the centre before enrolling. Browse the full directory of Clementi tuition centres for more options.
