Parkway Parade has been the anchor mall for Marine Parade since 1984, and it’s built up one of the densest clusters of tuition and enrichment centres on the East Coast — spread across the retail podium and the office tower that sits above it. If you’re raising a family in Marine Parade, Katong, or Siglap, there’s a decent chance the right tutor for your child is already inside this one building.
We swept every tuition centre address in our database against Parkway Parade’s own location at 80 Marine Parade Road and kept only the ones that check out. Fifteen made the cut, and every one of them sits within about 40 metres of each other — this isn’t a padded list of centres a bus ride away, it’s genuinely one complex. Here’s what each one offers.

1. My English School (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #10-01 Office Tower (entrance near taxi stand), Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6440 4606 | Website: myenglish.com.sg
My English School doesn’t treat phonics as the whole programme — it’s one step in a five-part sequence: noticing and saying English sounds, reading and spelling with letters, sounding out words smoothly, learning what new words mean, and finally reading and understanding a full story. Lessons build bottom-up, starting from basic sounds and only adding complexity once a child has actually mastered the step before, with placement by ability rather than age.
- Preschool: English, Phonics
- Primary: English

2. Indigo Education Centre (Marine Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #06-03 to #06-09, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6634 2208 | Website: indigo.com.sg
Indigo has been running since 2011 and built its name in H2 Chemistry before expanding into Physics, Math, Economics, and General Paper. It teaches on what it calls Indigo Pedagogy, a “through-train” framework meant to carry a student’s study habits from Secondary through to JC rather than resetting the approach every time they move up a level. This particular branch opened in November 2023, a roughly 5-minute walk from Marine Parade MRT.
- Secondary: English, Math, Additional Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry
- JC: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, General Paper
- Free trial class available

3. I Can Read Education Centre (Marine Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #12-01, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6440 6115 | Website: sg.icanread.asia
I Can Read isn’t a general tuition centre — it’s a literacy programme built in Australia in 2000 by educational psychologists, using synthetic phonics to teach children to convert letters into sounds and blend those sounds into words, rather than memorising whole words by sight. It’s since picked up ESSA Tier 4 accreditation in the US and taught over 300,000 students. Worth a look if your child is stuck at the early reading stage and general English tuition isn’t cutting through.

4. Hua Yi Education (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #11-07, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8661 0266 | Website: clas-huayi.com
Hua Yi Education (also known as CLAS-Huayi) has been teaching Chinese since 2003. Its materials are self-developed rather than bought off the shelf, built to track the government school textbooks but go further on vocabulary and reading comprehension, so lessons reinforce what’s covered in class instead of running a parallel syllabus. Classes stay small and every tutor is a native Chinese speaker with a background in education or linguistics.

5. Hua Language Centre (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #15-02, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6282 7200 | Website: hua.com.sg
Hua has been teaching Chinese since 1992, making it one of the longer-running language specialists in the country. Classes stay to around 6 to 8 students, and the centre works poems, riddles, and language trivia in alongside the syllabus content — the reasoning being that a child who finds Chinese mildly interesting sticks with it better than one who’s only drilling for tests.

6. Geniebook Campus (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #10-09, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8127 5351 | Website: geniebook.com
Geniebook Campus is the physical-classroom arm of Geniebook’s AI platform, and the tech is the actual differentiator rather than marketing gloss — each student gets a monthly Personalised Learning Plan built from data on where they’re weakest, with worksheets generated to target those specific gaps instead of a class-wide set. Lessons run on smartboards and tablets, with a teacher on hand to walk through the material.
- Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science

7. Edugrove Mandarin Enrichment Centre (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #12-04/05, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6909 5728 | Website: edugrove.com.sg
Edugrove steers away from rote memorisation and leans on conversation instead — Circle Time gets students speaking using vocabulary they’ve just learned, Active Learning Games introduce new words through play rather than flashcard drilling, and role-play/improvisational drama pushes them to use those words in unscripted scenarios. The goal is a child who can actually speak and think in Chinese, not just recognise characters on a worksheet.
- Subjects: Chinese, from preschool through secondary
- Paid trial class available

8. Dandelion School of Music (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #15-01, Office Tower, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8867 1771 | Website: dandelionmusic.com.sg
Dandelion isn’t academic tuition — it’s a music school, and one of the more established ones on the East Coast, founded in July 2013 and MOE-accredited. It’s guided more than 1,000 students through Piano, Violin, Acoustic and Classical Guitar, Vocal training, and a Music Adventure programme for younger kids, plus ukulele and flute. The 1,500+ sq ft studio houses Southeast Asia’s first Schimmel Recital Hall, with a Schimmel concert grand piano on site — worth knowing about if you’re looking for a sibling activity alongside academic tuition rather than more of the same.
- Programmes: Piano, Violin, Guitar (acoustic & classical), Vocal, Ukulele, Flute, Music & Movement
- No trial class currently offered — enquire directly

9. Creative Campus: Learning With Latitude (Campus East)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #14-06, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8850 2499 | Website: creativecampus.com.sg
Creative Campus is an English specialist, with its secondary curriculum designed by Geraldine Chew, a former English Curriculum Lead at The Learning Lab and an ex-lawyer. Classes are kept small enough for real discussion rather than passive listening, marked work is generally returned within a week, and the programme is pitched 20–30% ahead of the standard MOE pace so students meet key writing and critical-thinking concepts earlier than the typical school timeline.

- Primary: English
- Secondary: English
- JC: General Paper

10. Concept Math Tuition Centre (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #06-03, Office Tower, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8028 8044 | Website: conceptmath.com
Concept Math was started by Janice Chuah, a former MOE teacher who left the ministry after her student base grew tenfold within a year of home tutoring. The centre runs on an in-house S.M.A.R.T. approach and LEARN framework built to give students a repeatable way to work through unfamiliar problems, rather than leaning on rote memorisation of formulas and question types.
- Primary: Math
- Paid trial class available

11. Ai Huawen Education (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #11-02, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8851 2199 | Website: aihuawen.com.sg
Ai Huawen bills itself as an AI-integrated Chinese curriculum for K1 through Primary 6, built with curriculum experts from Beijing Normal University alongside Singapore educators. Its Smart Speaking Practice tool listens to a child read aloud and scores pronunciation in real time, while an AI writing module gives feedback on grammar and structure — data from both feeds into a personalised review plan rather than a one-size-fits-all worksheet pack.
- Preschool: Chinese
- Primary: Chinese

12. LCentral (Marine Parade)
Address: 1 Parkway Parade, 80 Marine Parade Road #19-05, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8120 4754 | Website: lcentral.net
LCentral runs what it calls a 360 Teaching Method — pen-and-paper work alongside classroom technology, rather than one replacing the other — across grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing. Its Speech & Drama track, aimed at children from N2 to K2, uses guided storytelling and role-play to work on how a child speaks, not just what they write: voice, tone, and body language get as much attention as vocabulary.

- Primary: English

13. Stalford Learning Centre (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #01-59/60/61/62/62A, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6446 3233 | Website: stalford.edu.sg
Stalford covers the full academic spread from preschool through secondary under one roof. Math runs through Heurika, the group’s specialist arm, which draws on Singapore Math heuristics to get students breaking problems into steps rather than pattern-matching. English is split by exam track — O-Level classes lean into essay and comprehension work, N-Level into grammar fundamentals, IP-track into critical-thinking and creative writing — so the teaching actually matches the exam a child is sitting.
- Preschool: Chinese, English, Math, Phonics
- Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
- Secondary: Additional Math, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese, Elementary Math, English, Math, Physics, Science

14. Kumon (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road #14-05, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 6348 7386 | Website: sg.kumonglobal.com
Kumon builds around self-learning rather than direct instruction: students work through small, incrementally harder worksheets — the Math programme alone spans 4,420 worksheets from preschool to high-school level — correcting their own mistakes with only light hints from instructors instead of being handed the answer. The KUMON CONNECT tablet platform now lets students complete assigned worksheets digitally alongside the paper format. It’s a good fit for building independent study habits, though it sticks to English and Math only — no Science or Chinese.
- Preschool: English, Math
- Primary: English, Math
- Secondary: Additional Math, Elementary Math, English, Math

15. Aspire Hub (Parkway Parade)
Address: 80 Marine Parade Road, #01-58, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269
Phone: +65 8876 4337 | Website: aspirehub.com
Aspire Hub, running since 2001, positions itself as coaching rather than straight tuition — a full-time teacher diagnoses gaps first, then builds a personalised programme around that rather than teaching a fixed curriculum to everyone in the room. Class sizes run small, and older students get a learning coach who checks in on revision through the term rather than only at test time.
- Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
- Secondary: Additional Math, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese, Elementary Math, English, Math, Physics, Science
Note: our source data still carries an older Jurong Point address in this listing’s excerpt field — the Parkway Parade address above is the current one on file.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all these tuition centres actually inside Parkway Parade?
Yes — all 15 sit at 80 Marine Parade Road, within about 40 metres of each other by our address-based check. A handful of units are explicitly in the Parkway Parade Office Tower component rather than the retail podium — My English School (#10-01), Concept Math (#06-03), and Dandelion School of Music (#15-01) all note “Office Tower” in their address — but they’re part of the same complex, not a separate building.
Which tuition centre at Parkway Parade is best for young children?
My English School, I Can Read, and LCentral are the most preschool-focused options, all centred on early English and phonics rather than general academic subjects. Stalford and Aspire Hub also run preschool programmes if you want Math or Chinese started early alongside English.
Is there a Chinese-language specialist at Parkway Parade?
There are four: Hua Yi Education and Hua Language Centre both run traditional small-class Chinese programmes (Hua since 1992, Hua Yi since 2003), Edugrove leans on conversational and drama-based methods, and Ai Huawen builds its lessons around an AI oral-practice and writing-feedback system. Geniebook, Stalford, and Aspire Hub also offer Chinese as part of a broader subject list.
Where should I go for Secondary or JC-level tuition?
Indigo Education Centre covers Secondary and JC Science, Math, Economics, and General Paper. Creative Campus specialises in English through to JC General Paper. Stalford and Aspire Hub both run full Secondary programmes across Math, Science, and languages.
Is there anything at Parkway Parade besides academic tuition?
Dandelion School of Music runs Piano, Violin, Guitar, Vocal, and other music lessons out of #15-01 in the Office Tower — a useful option if you’re looking for a non-academic enrichment activity for a sibling while an older child is at tuition nearby.
Do these centres offer trial classes?
My English School, I Can Read, Indigo, and LCentral offer free trials, and Edugrove and Concept Math offer paid trials. Hua Yi, Hua Language Centre, Geniebook, Ai Huawen, Creative Campus, and Dandelion don’t currently list one — contact them directly to ask about a placement assessment instead. Trial availability can change, so it’s worth confirming before you commit.
How do I get to Parkway Parade by MRT?
Take the Thomson-East Coast Line to Marine Parade Station (TE26) and use Exit 1, which comes out directly opposite the mall.
About Parkway Parade
Parkway Parade had a soft opening on 20 December 1983 and its official opening followed on 9 March 1984, developed by Parkway Holdings on a 31,536 sqm site. At the time it was one of the first suburban shopping malls in Singapore, and it launched with what was then the first and largest mall playground in the country, up on Level 7. Parkway Holdings sold the building to Asia Pacific Investment Company in 2000, and it’s changed hands since.
The mall has been refreshed a few times rather than left to age in place. A first makeover ran from March 2002 and was completed in two phases, wrapping up in November 2003. A second round of work refreshed the exterior and added alfresco dining to the ground floor — the old “Waterfall” leisure feature came out and the main entrance was repositioned, with the new dining strip and around 10 new tenants finished by the end of 2012.
Today the complex spans roughly 565,697 sq ft of floor area across a seven-storey retail podium plus basement, with a 22-storey office tower rising above it — and it’s this office tower that ends up housing most of the tuition centres on this list. Across the whole building there are around 270 tenant stores, anchored by FairPrice Xtra, CS Fresh, Kopitiam Food Hall (which reopened in March 2025), Daiso, Muji, Best Denki, Harvey Norman, and Toys “R” Us. A few things make it a workable base for a family afternoon beyond the tuition cluster itself:
- A medical centre on the fourth and fifth floors, useful if you need to squeeze in a check-up around a lesson.
- FairPrice Xtra and CS Fresh — two supermarket options for the grocery run while you wait.
- Kopitiam Food Hall and a wide F&B mix for dinner between lessons.
- A long-running kids’ play deck on Level 7, part of the mall’s original identity as a family destination.
Getting to Parkway Parade: MRT & parking
By MRT: Take the Thomson-East Coast Line (TE26) to Marine Parade Station and use Exit 1, which sits directly opposite Parkway Parade. There’s also a linkway connecting Exit 2 (near Brooke Road / Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel) through to Exit 1, so it’s walkable either way you surface.
By bus: Two stops serve the mall directly. Marine Parade Station Exit 2 (bus stop 92041) is served by services 15, 31, 36, 43, 48, 134, 135, 196, 197, 853M, and 966. The Marine Parade Station / Parkway Parade stop (92049) carries the same services plus 47 and 401.
By car: Coming off the ECP, take the Marine Parade exit and turn left onto Marine Parade Road. There are two carpark entrances — Carpark A via Marine Parade Central and Carpark B via Marine Parade Road, next to Cote D’Azur — feeding into 1,184 parking spaces in total.
- Daytime (2am–5:59pm): S$1.75 for the first hour, then S$0.44 per subsequent 15 minutes.
- Evening (6pm–1:59am): a flat S$3.49 per entry.
- Loading bay: a 15-minute grace period, then S$2.04 per subsequent half hour.
For a typical daytime lesson block, that works out to about S$1.75 for an hour or S$2.63 for 90 minutes — reasonable by East Coast standards, though it climbs fast if you’re driving in during the evening flat-rate window.
Prices, subjects, and trial class availability are updated periodically — always confirm directly with the centre before enrolling. Browse the full directory of Marine Parade tuition centres for more options.
