The Seletar Mall (33 Sengkang West Avenue, Singapore 797653) was developed as a joint venture between SPH Properties (now part of Cuscaden Peak Investments) and United Engineers. Construction started in late 2012, the mall opened its doors in November 2014, and it was officially launched in May 2015 by then-Minister of State Dr Lam Pin Min. In March 2024, the property changed hands in a S$550 million deal to Allgreen Properties, the Kuok Group’s Singapore real estate arm, which also owns Great World and Tanglin Mall.
The mall spans six floors with a net lettable area of around 189,000 sq ft and more than 130 shops. Its tenant mix has shifted over the years: NTUC Foodfare’s food court gave way to Haidilao Hotpot in 2022, BHG department store was replaced by Harvey Norman in early 2023, and Shaw Theatres — the mall’s original cinema and, at the time, Shaw’s first boothless cineplex — closed for good on 15 December 2024 after a decade in operation. FairPrice remains the mall’s anchor supermarket.
