About Velocity@Novena Square
The mall opened in December 2000 as Novena Square, developed by UOL Group. In November 2006 it was rebranded Velocity@Novena Square with a new extension, repositioning it as a dedicated sports and active-lifestyle mall — home to fitness retailers, True Fitness, and Climb Central’s climbing gym. It now runs to around 160 stores across three retail floors, directly above Novena MRT station.
Square Two, next door at 10 Sinaran Drive, opened a few years later on 10 December 2007. It’s developed and owned separately by Far East Organization rather than UOL, with more than 180 specialty stores across five retail levels, plus 145 medical suites on levels 8–11 as part of Novena Medical Centre. Despite the separate ownership, Square Two is connected to Velocity by an underground linkway that also feeds straight into the Novena MRT concourse — and a further covered bridge connects across to Royal Square at Novena on Irrawaddy Road. Three of the four centres below sit inside Square Two; the fourth is a short covered walk away in Royal Square.

By MRT: Take the North-South Line (NSL) to Novena Station (NS20) — Velocity sits directly above it. For Square Two, follow the underground linkway from the MRT concourse; it’s about a 2–3 minute walk, fully sheltered. Royal Square is a further short covered walk from there via a ground-floor link bridge.
By bus: Along Thomson Road: services 5, 21, 54, 56, 57, 131, 143, 162, 162M, 166, 167, 851, 980, and NR1. Along Moulmein Road: services 21 and 124.
By car: Both Velocity and Square Two have their own car parks, and since three of the four centres here are physically inside Square Two, that’s the more relevant one to know:
