About Northshore Plaza
Northshore Plaza sits across Blocks 407 and 418 on Northshore Drive, in the Northshore district of Punggol’s Eco-Town. It opened in two stages: Northshore Plaza I welcomed shoppers on 29 October 2021, and Northshore Plaza II followed progressively from January 2022, with both blocks connected by a bridge over Northshore Drive. The joint official opening ceremony for the whole development was held on 24 July 2022, led by then-Minister for National Development Desmond Lee — HDB describes it as the first seafront neighbourhood centre built in an HDB estate.
Across its three storeys and 52 shops, the mall leans eco-conscious by design: louvred facades, skylights, and solar panels cut down on artificial lighting and air-con, and the carpark runs on a barrier-free smart parking system. Anchor tenants are a mix of everyday essentials and destination draws:
- Giant supermarket — open 24 hours, on Level 1 of Plaza I.
- Decathlon — its first experience store in northern Singapore, a duplex spanning roughly 4,200 sqm across two levels.
- McDonald’s, Hai Di Lao Hot Pot, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Plaza I, and A&W, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken, Gaku Sushi Bar, Dancing Crab, Tsuta Ramen in Plaza II.

Getting to Northshore Plaza: MRT & parking
By LRT: Northshore Plaza I connects directly to Samudera LRT station (PW4) on the Punggol LRT’s West Loop via a linkway at Exit A on the second floor — Samudera opened on 31 March 2017, well ahead of the mall itself. It’s about as door-to-door as public transport gets in Punggol.
By bus: The bus stop at Samudera LRT’s Exit A (Stop 65629) is served by Services 34, 44, 84G, and 673. The mall also runs its own free shuttle bus looping around Punggol’s HDB malls, with departures roughly every 30 minutes during lunch (11.30am–1.30pm) and dinner (5.30pm–8.30pm) on weekdays.
By car: There’s no single expressway exit that leads straight to the mall — coming from the Tampines Expressway (TPE) or Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE), you’ll work through Punggol’s local road network onto Northshore Drive; GPS is the easiest way to handle the last stretch. Northshore Plaza II’s carpark entrance is separate, off Sumang Lane.
