Find Any Tuition Centres and Enrichment Classes

Bedok Mall sits directly above Bedok MRT station and the bus interchange, which makes it one of the easier drop-off points in the east for an after-school tuition run. It’s not a huge cluster — Bedok Mall isn’t a “tuition mall” the way some malls in Singapore are — but it does have two established centres operating inside the building itself, both easy to reach without stepping outside.

We checked every tuition centre address against the mall’s actual unit numbers rather than just going by category tags, and only two came back as genuinely inside Bedok Mall (311 New Upper Changi Road). Here’s what each one offers.

Mavis Tutorial Centre (Bedok Mall)

1. Mavis Tutorial Centre (Bedok Mall)

Address: 311 New Upper Changi Road, #02-03/04, Singapore 467360 (Level 2, inside Bedok Mall)
Phone: +65 9170 3832 | Website: mavistutorial.com

Mavis is one of the longer-running tuition chains in Singapore, and the Bedok Mall branch keeps lessons closely tied to the MOE syllabus — reinforcing what’s covered in school rather than running ahead with a separate curriculum. It covers the full spread from preschool through secondary, so it works if you’ve got children at different levels who’d rather not be shuttled to two different centres.

  • Preschool: English, Math, Phonics
  • Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
  • Secondary: English, Math, A Math, E Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Chinese
  • No trial class listed — enquire directly to ask about a placement assessment.

Aspire Hub (Bedok Mall)

2. Aspire Hub (Bedok Mall)

Address: 311 New Upper Changi Road, #B1-06, Singapore 467360 (Basement 1, inside Bedok Mall)
Phone: +65 9627 9470 | Website: aspirehub.com

Aspire Hub positions itself as academic coaching rather than standard tuition — its stated approach is that understanding has to come before memorisation, so lessons focus on building conceptual clarity a student can apply even when a question is phrased differently from what they drilled. Classes run in small groups, with progress tracked and adjusted per student rather than following one fixed script for the whole class. Programmes are pegged to the current MOE syllabus for PSLE, O-Level, and N-Level.

According to Aspire Hub’s own site, trial classes are available across their branches, starting with a diagnostic assessment and a recommendation on which programme fits, with no obligation to sign up afterward.

  • Primary: Chinese, English, Math, Science
  • Secondary: English, Math, A Math, E Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Chinese
  • Trial class available (per Aspire Hub’s website) — enquire directly to arrange one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there tuition centres actually inside Bedok Mall, not just nearby?

Yes — Mavis Tutorial Centre (#02-03/04, Level 2) and Aspire Hub (#B1-06, Basement 1) are both located inside Bedok Mall itself. There are more tuition centres a short walk away across New Upper Changi Road around Bedok Town Centre and Heartbeat @ Bedok, but those are separate buildings, not part of the mall.

Why are there only two centres on this list?

We checked every listing’s actual unit address against Bedok Mall’s own address (311 New Upper Changi Road) rather than relying on area tags. Only these two came back as genuinely inside the mall. A third centre, Aureus Academy, also operates inside Bedok Mall according to the mall’s own directory, though it isn’t currently listed on tuitioncentres.sg.

Which centre covers preschool students?

Mavis Tutorial Centre runs a preschool programme (English, Math, Phonics) in addition to primary and secondary. Aspire Hub’s Bedok Mall branch currently lists primary and secondary subjects only.

Do either of these centres offer a trial class?

Aspire Hub offers a trial class with a diagnostic assessment, per its own website. Mavis Tutorial Centre doesn’t have trial class availability listed for this branch — contact them directly to ask.

Can I drive to Bedok Mall for a tuition lesson?

Yes. Daytime parking runs S$1.55 for the first hour then S$0.40 per 15 minutes, so a typical 1–1.5 hour lesson costs roughly S$1.55–S$2.35. After 6pm it switches to a flat S$2.60 per entry, which works out cheaper for longer sessions.

About Bedok Mall

Bedok Mall opened on 3 December 2013, built by CapitaLand on the site of the former Bedok Bus Interchange. The project was finished about six months ahead of schedule, opening with roughly 80% of its shops already operating. The mall spans around 220,000 square feet over three levels and houses close to 195 stores, anchored by FairPrice Finest, Uniqlo, and Best Denki.

The redeveloped, air-conditioned bus interchange reopened underneath the mall in November 2014, and the eight residential towers of Bedok Residences above and beside it were completed in June 2015 — so the whole precinct (mall, interchange, MRT, and housing) came together in stages over about two years.

A few things make it a reasonably practical stop for a tuition run:

  • Direct MRT and bus interchange link — Bedok MRT station connects into the mall at Basement 2, and the bus interchange sits at Level 2, so pick-up and drop-off don’t require crossing New Upper Changi Road.
  • FairPrice Finest supermarket — useful for a grocery run while a lesson is in session.
  • Nursing room on Level B1 — handy if a younger sibling is tagging along.
  • Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre next door — a straightforward dinner option before or after a lesson block.

Getting to Bedok Mall: MRT & parking

By MRT: Bedok MRT station (EW5) on the East-West Line connects directly into the mall’s basement — no need to surface onto the road at all.

By bus: Bedok Bus Interchange, on Level 2 of the mall, is served by a long list of services including 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 17, 17A, 18, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 30E, 31, 32, 33, 35, 35M, 38, 40, 60, 66, 69, 87, 168, 196, 197, 222, 225G, 225W, 228, 229, 401, 854, and 854E.

By car: Bedok Mall is reachable via the PIE (exits 8A or 6) or the ECP (exit 7B). There’s a taxi stand right on New Upper Changi Road if you’d rather not drive in yourself.

  • Car parking (12am–5:59pm): S$1.55 for the first hour, then S$0.40 per 15 minutes after, with a 10-minute grace period.
  • Car parking (6pm–11:59pm): a flat S$2.60 per entry, also with a 10-minute grace period.
  • Motorcycle parking: S$1.30 per entry, all day, with a 15-minute grace period.

For a typical 1–1.5 hour daytime lesson, that works out to roughly S$1.55–S$2.35 in parking. Drive in after 6pm and it’s a flat S$2.60 regardless of how long the lesson runs, which is actually cheaper if you’re staying past the 90-minute mark.

Subjects, trial class availability, and unit numbers are updated periodically — always confirm directly with the centre before enrolling. Browse the full directory of Bedok tuition centres for more options nearby, including Bedok Town Centre and Heartbeat @ Bedok.
